Due to the high demand for bookings, a Guest, if cancels 9 months prior to arrival, can only receive 50% back of the original booking fee. No refunds will be given for under 9 months of arrival date. A guest can request to re-book as there is a rebooking fee required of 25% of the total of the contract. The rebooked week must be within 12 months of the original booking date. The fee is required at the time of re-booking. It is highly recommended that every Guest purchase third party travel insurance and medical insurance to cover any unfortunate emergencies, natural disasters and global pandemics that may occur. Bookings prior to and after the holidays (i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Easter) which are non-refundable and non-transferable due to high demands of those weeks. Additionally, due to the high demand, this policy also refers to calendar dates booked within January and February weeks. The owner of the Residence – Essence of Dreams will not be responsible for any cancellations due to hurricanes, floods, or earthquakes. The Guest accepts that there are occasional short-lived power outages during or following storms, typical for Central America, and the owner, Essence of Dreams will not be responsible for any losses or damages due to these events.
